CENTRAL VENOUS CATHETERS

Produced in anti-thrombogenic ultra-smooth polyurethane in order to reduce the risk of thrombocyte
formation in the catheter.

The possibility of any damage to the vessel wall during the insertion of the catheter is greatly
reduced due to its thermically rounded atraumatic tip.

All our Central Venous Catheters are also available on request with integrated safety valve which
prevents both the entrance of air into the catheter and the exit of any blood thereby reducing the
risks of infections (HBV/HIV prophylaxis) for patients and medical staff. With these safety catheters
a reduced puncture site is obtained due to the homogeneous passage of the stainless steel cannula
in the Teflon capillary.
