JasanColostomyBag is professional products are primarily available in hospitals, nursing homes and by a general practitioner's prescription. They fall into three main categories: A: i-OstomyCares, B: i-WoundCares and C: i-ContinenceCares.

A. i-OstomyCares

JasanColostomyBag Systems offer you a range of solutions for appliances and services. Our commitment is to develop these products and services in cooperation with both end users and healthcare professionals, ensuring that they meet your needs. Constantly at the forefront of technology and investing in new solutions,
JasanColostomyBag Systems has the solution to all your needs. Coloplast produces two main sorts of bag for stoma patients. A One Piece System comprises one single unit which is made up of the collection bag and adhesive ring which firmly attaches the bag around your stoma. A Two Piece System has the collection bag separate from the adhesive ring and the two halves are securely clipped together. This means that you do not have to remove the adhesive ring from around the stoma every time you change the bag.
Colostomy
A colostomy is where the shortened colon is brought to the surface of the abdomen to form the stoma. Most people with a colostomy use a closed bag, however if the output from the stoma is particularly liquid a drainable bag may be more appropriate.
Urostomy
A urostomy is an operation which diverts the passage of urine. With a urostomy you will need to use a bag with a tap at the bottom to enable you to let the urine out
Ileostomy
During the operation, part of the ileum is brought to the surface of the abdomen to form a stoma. With an ileostomy you will need to use a drainable bag.

B: i-WoundCares

Here at JasanMedicalWoundDressing we like to put our patients first. Our wound care products are designed to make our patients life easier by providing a safe, comfortable and absorbent environment.

C: i-ContinenceCares
Continence is having full control over the passing of urine or faeces. Full urinary continence
means being able, voluntarily, to pass urine in a socially acceptable place.
A fully continent person, therefore, can usually:

  1. recognise the need to pass urine
  2. identify an appropriate place in which to do this
  3. hold on until that place has been reached
  4. pass urine when he or she gets there

If any of these conditions cannot be met then the person may experience bladder problems.
Almost everyone, however, can benefit from professional help, self-help, appropriate continence
aids or all three. Difficulties with continence can, of course, be treated and the quality of life can be dramatically improved.
